Blackwood’s Brave Coaching
Hi, I’m Scott. Welcome.
I support professionals in identifying, preventing, and recovering from burnout by helping them change what’s no longer sustainable — because real change is easier said than done
What is burnout, actually?
Burnout is more than feeling tired after a long week or frustrated with a bad day at work. Burnout happens when stress lasts for a long time and your body and mind do not get the support or rest they need. People who are burned out often feel drained all the time, even after sleep or time off. Work may start to feel heavy, distant, or overwhelming, and simple tasks can feel hard. Research shows burnout grows when people face too much pressure, not enough support, or little control over their work. Burnout is not a sickness and it is not a personal failure—it is a sign that something in the work or life system needs to change
